Sovepose til den bærbare

Opskrift:

This pattern fits a pc that measures approx. 25.5 by 20 cm. Use thin feltable wool that fits needles 3.5 mm. and a short (40 cm) 3.5 mm circular needle.

Cast on 54 stitches and knit back and forth: purl 4, *k2, p2* till you reach the last 4 stitches, purl 4.
Cont. until it measures 21 cm. Cast on another 46 stitches and continue knitting around while knitting the extra stitches k2, p2. Continue until it measures 42 cm from where you cast on the extra stitches. Cast off and sew it together in the buttom. Wash on 40 degrees in the washingmashine and carefully stretch it back into shape. Sew on velcro to close it.

Have fun!

How to make an owl penholder

photo: tempo.dk

You need a foodtin, some fabric and some glue.

Use the below template and cut out all the parts.

Then glue the base fabric onto the foodtin. I made the piece of fabric a little longer than the tin so that it covers the upper edge and glued it on the inside of the tin. Then glue the owlparts onto the fabric that covers the tin.

Have fun.

Fruit basket

The first pattern I will share with you is my fruit basket. The baskets are knitted and afterwards felted in the washingmachine simply by washing it on 40 degrees celsius using a wool detergent.

I have made a few different sizes: the low rather large one like this one:

This one is a bit more narrow but taller

And last but not least: the snack basket

I used very thick knitting wool and knitting needles size 12 (Danish size).

The red basket:

Cast on 30 stitches and knit until the piece is square. You can test this by placing the lower left corner of the knitted peace in the upper right corner. If it forms a perfect triangle, the piece is square. See picture below.

Decrease 3 stitches on the next row. Pick up 27 stitches on each of the other three sides (you now have 108 stitches) and pearl one round. Then you simply knit around and around until the height of the basket is approx. 15 cm. Pearl one round and cast off.

The basket looks rather odd and loose before you felt it. It will probably look something like this:

The taller white basket:

Cast on 20 stitches and follow the same procedure for the bottom. Decrease 3 stitches and pick up 22 stitches along the other sides = 88 stitches. Knit until the piece measures approx. 28 cm.

The small snack baskets:

Cast on 16 stitches and follow the same procedure for the bottom. Decrease 2 stitches and pick up 14 stitches along the other sides = 56 stitches. Knit until the piece measures approx. 20 cm.

Good luck.
